Yes, with three things attached to it. Tally Forms gives you unlimited forms and unlimited submissions on the free plan, along with payments, an e-signature block, conditional logic, calculations, duplicate prevention, password protection, 40+ languages and its AI builder. The one thing worth knowing is the published fair-use policy. It starts to apply if you consistently collect more than 50,000 submissions a month, upload more than 100 GB a month or 500 GB in total, or send more than 50,000 notification emails a month. At that point Tally Forms contacts you about a custom plan, invoiced quarterly on top of your subscription. For the vast majority of users, free genuinely means free. FormNX also gives unlimited forms and unlimited responses on its free plan, so this is not the difference between the two tools.

What is the best free alternative to Tally Forms?

Does Tally Forms have email verification?
Yes, but only on the Business plan at roughly $74-89 a month, where it is the headline feature. On free and Pro, respondents can enter any email address without confirming it. Tally Forms also has no disposable or temporary email blocking on any plan. FormNX includes email OTP verification on the Pro plan at around $15 a month. The respondent enters a 4-digit code sent to their inbox before the form will submit. It pairs with one-click blocking of known throwaway domains such as Mailinator and 10MinuteMail.

Can Tally Forms take payments?
Yes. Tally Forms has a payment block that works on the free plan, and it charges no commission of its own, so you pay only Stripe's standard processing fees. There are two limits. Stripe is the only processor, so PayPal, Razorpay and other gateways are not options. And Tally Forms states it does not support collecting recurring payments, so subscriptions and memberships are out. FormNX closes the first gap but not the second: it supports Stripe, PayPal and Razorpay, though its payments are also one-time rather than recurring. Stripe works on the FormNX free plan, carrying a 7.5% Stripe Connect fee, and the platform fee is 0% on paid plans.
