What is Email to responder?​

The "Email to Responder" feature in FormNX enables you to automatically send email responses to users who fill out your forms.

This functionality is perfect for sending confirmation emails, thank-you messages, or any other type of email communication that should be triggered by form submissions.

You have complete control over the email's content, recipients, and even the option to attach a PDF of the submitted data.

To set up Auto Response Email for new form submissions in FormNX, follow these steps:

Auto Response Email

  1. Open Form Builder: Create a new form or click edit of an existing form.

  2. Settings Tab: Click on "Settings" tab to go the email tab.

  3. Email Tab: click on "Email" tab to see all email related condiguration.

  4. Enable Email Notifications: Click on "Auto Response Setting" & click enable.

  5. Specify Sender and Recipients: Define the sender's email address and select the form field that will be used as the recipient's email address (typically the user's email input).

  6. Subject and Body: Customize the email subject and body to create a personalized message. You can use dynamic tags to include form element fields in the email content.

  7. Dynamic Tags: Optionally, use dynamic tags to include form element fields in the email subject and body.

  8. Attach PDF: If needed, check the "Attach PDF" checkbox to attach a PDF of the submitted data in the email.

Save Your Settings: Don't forget to save your email notification configuration.

Registration Confirmation​

If you have a registration form on your website, you can set up an auto response email to send users a confirmation message immediately after they register.

There is no strict limit to the number of dynamic tags you can use in an email, but keep the content concise and relevant to ensure a positive user experience.
