🧩 Discord Integration
Discord Integration with FormNX Forms
FormNX allows you to seamlessly integrate Discord with your forms so you can receive notifications directly in your Discord channel whenever a form submission occurs.
This guide will walk you through the steps to connect Discord and customize your notification message.
Steps to integrated Discord with Forms
Step 1: Open your form in which you want to integrate Discord, then click on the Integrations tab.
Step 2: Connect to Discord: Look for the Discord option under the integrations. Once you see the Discord option, click the Connect button.
Step 3: Configure Discord details
1. Enter Webhook URL
Then you will see "Webhook URL" field and in this field you need to enter the Webhook URL of the channel in which you want the form submission data to be sent.
This Webhook URL should be provided by the Discord channel. Follow the steps below to know from where in Discord you will get the Webhook URL:
I. Login to your Discord account.
II. Go to your server and look for the Server Settings option.
III. Click on Server Settings option.
IV. Then, click on Create Webhook button.
V. You can select the discord channel where you want to send the submission data.
VI. Copy the Webhook URL & paste it in the Webhook URL field of the Discord Integration.
2. Customize Your Discord Notification Message
- In the Message field, type the message you want to send to your Discord channel whenever a form is submitted.
- To include dynamic data from your form, such as the user’s name, email, etc., click on the Dynamic Tags from "click to add dynamic tags" option. This will allow you to insert form field data into the message by clicking on it. Dynamic tags can be used to personalize and tailor the message based on the form responses.
Example Discord Message:
For example, if you want to send a message like:
“A new submission has been received: Name: name
, Email: email
, Message: message
”
You can type it in the message field, and replace name
, email
, and message
with the corresponding dynamic tags from the form.
Step 4: Save Your Settings: Once the webhook URL is entered and you're happy with your custom message, click on Publish Form to save the settings on the form. Your message will be posted over the Discord channel.
Now, every time a form submission occurs, the customized message will be sent directly to your Discord channel.
That’s it! You’re all set to receive real-time Discord notifications on your Discord channel from your submissions.
